Spider Cookies made with a REESE’S Peanut Butter Cups Miniatures, candy eyes and TWIZZLERS Twists. These are the perfect Halloween cookie for kids and adults!
These cookies start out with your basic cookie dough (aka my favorite cookie dough).
Combine the butter and sugars in a large mixing bowl. Mix with an electric mixer on medium speed for 1 minute. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix just until combined. Then slowly mix in flour, salt and baking soda. Mix just until combined.
Once your cookies have cooled, it’s time to decorate! Place a REESE’S Peanut Butter Cups Miniature in the center of the cookie with a dab of frosting. Then cut the TWIZZLERS Twists into small pieces to use for the legs. I find it easiest to push little holes into the cookie for the legs to rest in and then add a dab of frosting on each end of the TWIZZLERS Twists.

Refrigerate for 15 to 20 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper. Roll the cookie dough into 1 1/2 inch balls (could use a medium cookie scoop). Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the bottoms are lightly golden.
Transfer the cookies to a cooling rack.
Place a dab of black frosting on the back of the REESE’S and then place in the center of the cookie. Then place a dab of frosting on the ends of the TWIZZLERS Twists and press into the cookie to form the legs. Then place two candy eyes on with a dab of black frosting to finish them off. You can also use the black frosting to draw on the legs as well.
Enjoy!
To make it easier for the legs to stick, you can also place a hole with a tooth pick for them to sit in. 🙂

YUM! Such a fun little Halloween treat for your next get together! My kids absolutely loved these and are already begging for me to make them again.
